and conducted workshops for actors and musicians in the Bay Area
and Japan.
His patients/pupils include injured workers, athletes, dancers, martial artists, massage therapists, actors, musicians and the elderly. Antonio has also practised the ancient martial art Shaolin Ssu for over 20 years, played and coached soccer at both the youth and adult levels, and worked with children of all ages in both regular and mentally challenged programs in high schools, middle schools and children centers. On a personal level, the Alexander Technique has helped Antonio improve his own performance practising Shaolin, classical guitar, bongos and Taiko drums, as well as being successful at managing his own injuries.
Antonio's eclectic experience has made him an astute and a well
rounded teacher/therapist. It has enabled him to better assess
the cause of pain and provide patients with a valuable platform
for
self care. Once discharged from Physical Therapy, private Alexander
Technique lessons are recommended for those patients who wish
to continue learning and advance to a higher level of performance.
Antonio believes that BALance, in all spheres of life, is key
to
good health.
